Hello, and welcome to our Sunday cover series, one song chosen weekly from suggestions posted on my socials. Our first pick, As Tears Go By, came up several times, along with wishes for Marianne Faithfull's full recovery from Covid-19.
Your tips in the tip jar this week go in two directions ~
Project Bread, an organization in need of donations to help provide food for children and families impacted by school shutdowns and lost/suspended income.
Also each week: a different full-time musician/engineer that the Boston music community relies on in the best of times, who might need some support in the worst.
With wishes for your health and safety, and love from our hide-outs to yours,

Kristin's squalliest squeakiest most raucous & gut(pageant)siest album since the classic 2007 "Learning To Sing". Scrubbed acoustic guitars and scraped electric guitars with dissonant sounds, croaky vocals and some great drumming (I bet David N is on the record). American traditional as played by a grunge band, imagine Woody Guthrie founding Sugar or Hüsker Dü, and I swear there's a Led Zep guitar riff in "Fox Point". A great album. agutterfan
